So I'm looking to get a new phone. Sounds simple.
As I need international calling on my contract the area starts to become a big vague. I did a bit of research with all the suppliers in the UK that included o2,Virgin, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and Three. Looking at this it appeared that Three offered the best deal.
Having looked at the Three website they have Three Home Rates. If your ever in a Three Network zone abroad you can use your allowance in a different country.
Small Print
Yet after reading the small print it states that only inclusive minutes in the plan are included and not 3-3 minutes slightly misleading.
Also they advertise free skype and free instant messaging this is all subject to a fair useage policy. I argue that this isn't free then.
As there are a few of us looking to get contracts out the best deal we could get was 300 minutes/texts on Mix and Match for £24 with 2000 minutes 3-3 (this was based on purchasing an e71)
All providers were putting each other down rather than stating what makes them better than their competitors e.g. T-Mobile "Three are setting their prices low to be bought out!, They will put their prices up as soon as they are bought out!". I found this very misleading and not very ethical.
I'll let you know how I get on in the next week or so!
